Kumihama Bay
Kumihama Bay is a bay with a 28km circumference that is separated from the Sea of Japan on the north shore by a sandbar. Parks, campgrounds, golf courses, temples and hot springs are scattered around the bay, and visiting them during different seasons creates a new feeling every time you visit. The view from the Kabutoyama Observation Deck gives the viewer a superb overview of what the entire bay looks like. There are also burial mounds on a cape on the west side of Kumihama Bay that date back centuries, the Daimyojin tomb group.
