Midono Waterfall in the town of Yasaka, Kyotango City is a powerful waterfall falls' length of approximately 20m and a total height 260m. It is on the left side of the road, 500m before reaching Midono Village, which was the secret hideaway of Hosokawa Garasha, the daughter of Mitsuhide Akechi, famed samurai general.
