Hashiudo-so is a reasonably priced guesthouse ideal for tourists and business travelers who want to get away from work and go to the beach! The accommodation is located just steps from a beautiful swimming beach with ancient volcanic rocks on both sides. A short walk down the beach brings visitors to Tateiwa, a massive volcanic basalt column rising out from the Japanese Sea. The facility has natural hot springs on site (also available for day-trippers). The cuisine is seafood based, and as the town of Tango is one of the best locations for seafood in Japan, everything you will have here will be caught fresh that day. Within walking distance is one of the areas best restaurants, a souvenier shop, and a couple of cafes.
