Maizuru Hydrangea Park
This expansive park is home to about 30,000 camellia trees and 100,000 hydrangea bushes. The park is on a hill overlooking the sea as well as the mountains, which makes the location great for picnics and viewing fall foliage.
There are times when strolling through the various blues, violets, pinks, and purples of the hydrangea, that it feels very much like wading through a sea of petals.
