Mt. Goro is located almost in the center of Maizuru and boasts an altitude of 301m. And at the top of Mt. Goro is an observation tower rising up another 50m.
From the observation room, which is 325 meters above sea level, you'll experience a 360-degree panoramic view of Maizuru Bay and the city of Maizuru, with its beautiful coastline and mountains. The view from here has been selected as "No. 1 of Kinki's 100 Views" and really is a breathtaking.
